In the beautiful Aix-en-Provence (France) our mechanics have a two-part folding wall installed with a total size of 2 x 10.45 metres. At an earlier stage of this project, previous two pool covers fitted, with which this pool is now fully equipped for flexible use.
How does a folding wall work?
The folding wall is mounted in a fixed position on the pool floor and allows the pool to be easily divided into two separate sections. In the rest position, when not in use, the wall lies completely horizontal on the bottom of the pool.
In newly built pools, the folding wall will be integrated into a architectural niche. As a result, the wall is completely out of sight when at rest, ensuring a sleek look and optimum preservation of swimming space. As soon as the wall is needed, it can be easily folded up and deployed.
