Optimal water circulation, guaranteed according to standard

On delivery of a new swimming pool, a colour test is mandatory according to NEN-EN 15288-2:2008. This test checks whether there are no zones of stagnant water and whether the water circulation in the pool meets hygiene requirements. Especially in pools with a moveable floor, this is a crucial point of concern. Variopool has developed an innovative solution for this: an integrated water intake system that ensures optimum flow, regardless of the position of the floor. This guarantees a pool that meets the highest technical and hygienic standards.

Patented water intake system in the moveable floor

Our patented water inlet system is fully integrated into the moveable bottom with a polypropylene or polyester walking deck. Adjustable water inlets are incorporated in the deck, linked to a pipe system in the base frame. Via a flexible connection, these are connected to the filter unit. As soon as the bottom moves, a signal is automatically activated that controls the water inlets, effectively introducing fresh water. This makes even the mandatory colour test - which must pass within 12 minutes - run smoothly.

Smart technology, seamless collaboration

The system is realised in cooperation with the water handler, who places a PVC pipe in the pool wall, just above the finished bottom. Together, we determine the optimal position, diameter and number of pipes, tailored to the dimensions of the movable bottom. An automatic valve in the pipe ensures that the water supply stops when the bottom is in night position.
