Variopool's folding wall is a smart and space-saving solution to quickly divide one pool into two separate pools. Mounted in a fixed position in the pool floor, the wall efficiently splits the pool into two parts. In its resting position, the folding wall is completely horizontally recessed into a recess in the floor. In new construction, this recess is integrated structurally, so that the wall is completely out of sight when folded down. This creates a sleek and calm pool appearance, without any visible technical elements.

More possibilities within one bath

When the folding wall is erected, it immediately creates two functional swimming zones. This allows, for example, swimming lessons, recreational swimming or training sessions to take place simultaneously in the same pool. This increases programming flexibility and optimises the use of available swimming space. In addition, in combination with a demountable walking deck and balustrades, the wall can be used as a walkway for supervisors. Thus, the folding wall offers not only functional separation, but also practical advantages in supervision and safety.

Folding or insulating wall: the right choice for your concept

In addition to the folding wall, Variopool also offers an insulation wall as an alternative. Both systems allow a pool to be divided into two parts, but differ in application and functionality. A key difference is that an insulation wall is not walkable, while a folding wall - with the right facilities - can serve as a walking connection. On the other hand, an insulation wall allows you to create two different water temperatures in one pool.
