A recent Variopool innovation, developed in cooperation with the Athletic Skills Model (ASM), is the possibility of integrating colour areas and shapes into the Polypropylene walking deck of the movable floor. This visual layout of the pool opens up new possibilities for games, exercise programmes and sports-oriented exercises in the water. The colour areas encourage coordination, balance, motor development and fitness building in an accessible and playful way.

The unique modular walking deck system, built from full-core polypropylene sheets on a stainless steel frame construction, allows these colour layouts to be integrated both immediately upon completion and at a later date. This keeps the basin future-proof and allows it to respond to changing sports and exercise concepts.

The Athletic Skills Model is already widely applied in gymnasiums, sports halls and public outdoor spaces and focuses on the multi-faceted development of motor skills in children, young people and adults.
