At swimming pool De Beemd in Lochem, a multifunctional swimming and sports centre, everything is about experience for young and old. After more than 30 years of loyal service, the decision was made to preventively replace the moveable floor. This way, De Beemd ensures that optimal operation is never compromised. For the replacement, De Beemd looked closely at the current possibilities and new developments. The choice fell on a polypropylene movable floor with Area H2O Lite. This means that the moveable bottom is equipped with integrated RGB lights and fountains. This choice enables the pool to transform the surface into a colourful spray park in addition to the regular use of the movable floor! This allows an additional recreational spray park of 135m2 to be created at the touch of a tap.
Innovation for all
Thanks to Area H2O's smart technology, the pool can be effortlessly transformed into a true swimming paradise. With just two touches on the touchscreen, part of the competition pool is brought to life with colourful fountains.
The fountains, which are incorporated in the movable bottom, can be fully adapted to the target group and type of activity with different programmed shows. This allows younger swimmers to play safely and older audiences to enjoy a more spectacular water experience.
